Are you an art student? Have you taken a studio class? Do you have an art piece you want to show off? Vol State’s upcoming Culture Crawl wants your submissions!
All submissions for the art show are due by April 1. The art pieces must be dropped off in the art gallery on the first floor of the Steinhauer-Rogan-Black (SRB) building and must be ready to hang or display.
The Culture Crawl will be held on April 30 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the SRB building. Both faculty and students will showcase the different arts Vol State has to offer: live music from our jazz band, theater performances, short films, an art show from our art students, and many more!
There will be an award show during the Culture Crawl for the art pieces displayed. All pieces will be judged by an outside art professional. Additionally, students who submit art pieces are encouraged to set a price to sell their pieces to anyone who is interested. It’s common that staff and faculty, other students, parents, and college departments purchase artwork from the show.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact any of the art instructors. We look forward to seeing you there!
