Got an idea for a mural that represents why humanities and social sciences help us become well-rounded citizens of the world? The Humanities and Social Science buildings are in need of your creativity!
All mural design ideas must be completed and submitted to Professor Abigail Herzberg’s email abigail.herzberg@volstate.edu by February 27th at 4pm.
There are 8 feet by 15 feet of wall space for The Humanities mural. There are 8 feet by 11 feet of wall space for the Social Sciences mural. Each mural will be in a hallway just outside each division office.
Please note that you may submit an idea either by yourself or as a group, and that if your idea is chosen, you may work as a group to complete the mural. You will also be given guidance from Professor Abigail Herzberg and other art professors as needed.
Again, all mural design ideas must be completed and submitted to Professor Abigail Herzberg’s email abigail.herzberg@volstate.edu by February 27th at 4pm. If you submit as a group, please include the names of all group members in your email!
Additionally, there will be a reception to celebrate Sabrina Marquez on February 23rd at 4pm. Sabrina designed and painted Vol State’s first ever mural in the Warf Building just last year. Please submit your mural ideas and please come celebrate Sabrina’s hard work and accomplishment with us as well!
